Welcome to the official website of Robbie Stewart, one of Scotland's most talented young motorcycle racers, also known as 'Wee Midge'.
Robbie has now signed for Factory Team, Triumph SC, and will be racing a Daytona 675 in the European Superstock Championship, which runs alongside the World Superbike Championship. Team Triumph SC is run by the legendary Stefano Caracchi and Robbie's team mate in the squad is Garry McCoy, who is campaigning a 675 in the World Supersport class. Robbie's very much looking forward to the challenge of racing on the world scene - world superstock runs a very respectable pace - and gaining valuable experience of new circuits and another level of racing.
16 year old Robbie, from Bridge of Earn, Perthshire has been racing competitively since he was just eight years old. He quickly established himself in the highly competitive Minimoto Class and within just two years found himself representing his country as British Minimoto Champion in Italy. Three further seasons in Minimoto racing saw Robbie accumulate multiple Scottish and UK titles and at the end of 2004 he began the move to 125cc racing. In 2005 he raced an RS125 Aprilia in both the Scottish and MRO Superteens Championships. He won every round of an amazing debut season to take the Scottish Championship, while numerous wins and podium finishes resulted in runners-up spot in the MRO series and firmly established Robbie as one of racing's most promising young stars.
2006 saw Robbie progress to a much bigger stage, initially riding for the UK1 Racing Team in the high profile British Superbike 125GP Championship Cup. Successes included a superb win first time out at Donington Park and, despite not competing in a number of rounds, Robbie finished the year with a top five placing in the series.
In 2007 Robbie raced with Mark Keen Race Preperation, in the British and Spanish championship, where he had a successful year, finished second in the British Championship and first in the Dorna Cup for under 16s.
