Track looks good, and it was hard to learn as a new track for me as never been before. Went out in first practice and found the track hard to learn, due to the long fast flowing corners and quite blind corners over the crest and was a very wide track. Went out with new tyres and used them up in the first session to learn the track, my times were 2.14.076.

First Qualifying went out on used tyres, I could not go any quicker, but was riding round to learn the track and getting used to the bike. I had to come in due to suspension problems, got it changed and went back out but not much better: 2.14.681.

Second Qualifying - went out for the second qualifying, still never had a suspension setting, went out with new tyres, and went faster straight away, had to come in to the pits to change suspension, and went back out and helped a bit. Times were a little better, 2.11.996, and this put me 31st.

For the Race on Saturday it stayed dry, as someone said rain was forecast. I got a decent start, went into first corner and tried to go round the other riders, but got pushed wide on to the slippery surface, this let them pass me, which made me two seconds behind. I had to do some catching up !!! Then the tyres went off quite quickly… I was managing to catch them at the corners but they managed to pull away from me on the long straight, time was 2,12.000 not too happy with this and could have had a better result.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank John MacDonald for the loan of a Bike for the Track night at Knockhill, with Alan MacIntosh who asked us to do some Tutoring with some of his 125 Aprilia kids.
